The best way to enjoy MacKerricher State Park is to first stop at Laurel's in Fort Bragg and choose a yummy treat like this colossal cookie. Believe me, you will have a difficult decision ahead of you because everything is delicious at Laurel's.
Then marvel at the view from the parking lot whilst gathering courage to brave the inevitable cold wind. The waves are incredible.By the way, you pay exactly nothing in this state park unless
you want to camp overnight.
