Beekeeping. I've wanted to do this for a long time now and guess what? The bees move in on Saturday! My dear friend and neighbor Krista is my 'bee buddy', we are embarking on this adventure and it's delicious rewards together.

My dad kept bees for quite a few years, he is taking some time away from it after a big loss a few years ago to a bear. We are borrowing his equipment and count on him for future advice and know-how.

Today I spruced up the hives with some fresh paint and then after school The Little Girls and Wrenna and Amani (Krista's Littles) painted pictures on the exterior to make the bees feel at home.
